Walter Zenga

About

Former goalie and athlete that played soccer professionally for over 21 years. During his professional career, he played for the Italian men's national team. Shortly after retiring, he then began his professional coaching career in the year 1999. He stands 6'2" tall.

Before Fame

As a kid, he played for Macallesi 1927. He also played within the Inter Milan youth ranks. 

Trivia

While playing for Inter Milan, he helped his team win the 1991 and 1994 UEFA Cups. In the year 2018, he was inducted into the Inter Milan Hall of Fame. After Italy had failed to qualify for the 1992 European Championship, Arrigo Sacchi was appointed as Italy's new manager, and he eventually excluded Zenga from his side in favor of goalkeepers who were more suited to his zonal marking defensive system.

Family Life

Growing up, he lived with his family in Milan, Italy. He is now a husband and the father of three children.
