Former NFL offensive lineman that played for the San Francisco 49ers from 1978 until 1983. Following his 1978 season, he was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team.

He previously played college football at the University of Michigan. As a senior, he was named an All-American.
Trivia
While playing with the 49ers, he won the Super Bowl XVI in 1981 against the Cincinnati Bengals. He was later inducted into the Chester County Sports Hall of Fame as well as the Coatesville Hall of Fame.

Growing up, he lived with his family in the Coatesville, Pennsylvania area. His son, T.J., played college football at Ohio State University.
