About
Internationally recognized guitar player, composer, record producer, and session musician for hundreds of musical artists and groups including the massively popular Linda Ronstadt, Jon Bon Jovi, and Rolling Stones. He played with Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks on their album "Buckingham Nicks" before they joined Fleetwood Mac, a group that he later wrote for and toured with as well. He co-wrote with Nicks on several songs including "Annabell Lee," and he's credited on at least eight of her solo albums.
Before Fame
He began taking guitar lessons when he was approximately nine years old and started writing his own songs just five years later. He initially performed with local bands throughout New York until he formed his own band called The Orphans, which was a regular fixture in Newport, RI bars. After they disbanded, he created the musical group Twice Nicely. However, after a few years, he decided to commence a solo career as a session player.
Trivia
He has composed and played some of the music for many feature films including Joe Dirt, The Longest Yard, Grandma's Boy, and Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star.
Family Life
He was born into a Jewish family. He is married to wife Annie Wachtel.
