Indian chess player, gold medalist, and social media personality. In 2013, he received the title of Grandmaster at age 19, which is the highest title a chess player can be awarded. He became only the 30th chess player from India to be awarded the Grandmaster title.
Before Fame
He attended school at the Fravashi Academy, where he learned how to play chess. At age 14, he won the U-14 division at the World Youth Chess Championship, becoming the first Indian chess player to do so.
Trivia
During the 2020 FIDE Online Chess Olympiad, he won a gold medal while serving as captain of the Indian National Chess team. His chess fame has led him to gain over 240,000 followers on his viditchess Instagram page.
Family Life
He was born in Indore, India, where he lived with his parents, Santosh Gujrathi and Nikita Santosh Gujrathi, as well as his younger sister named Vedika.
