Family Life
She was born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and moved to Barcelona with her mother as a child. Her father left her and her family at an early age, so she was raised by her mother. Her sister was a contortionist, and the two of them often performed together. She had two children, but she was never married. She died in Tenerife, Spain at the age of 80.
