About
Mexican drug lord and former high-ranking member of the Sinaloa Cartel. He is also known as "El Vicentillo". In March of 2009, he was arrested in Mexico City on narco-trafficking related charges, then extradited to the US to stand trial. He was charged with trafficking more than a billion dollars worth of heroin and cocaine. In May of 2019, he was sentenced to 15 years in prison. Due to his cooperation in providing information on other members of the cartel, his sentence was reduced.

His full name is Vicente Zambada Niebla.
Trivia
He admitted to coordinating drug smuggling with fellow drug lord, Joaquín Guzmán "El Chapo" Loera. They used speedboats, private planes and submarines to smuggle the drugs from Colombia to Mexico and then to the US. As well as a reduced sentence for cooperating, there were measures taken to protect his family. He was released from prison in July of 2022.
Family Life
He is the son of Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada, one of Mexico's most-wanted drug lords. His mother is Rosario Niebla Cardoza. He has four sisters and two brothers. His aunt and uncle are Agueda Zambada Garcia and Jesus Zambada.
Associated With
Ismael Zambada and Ignacio Coronel Villarreal were both close associates of the past Sinaloa Cartel leader, Joaquín Guzmán Loera.
