Veronica Rotin

About

Maltese and Australian singer who rose to fame as a child star when she made it to the finals in the Italian TV show Io Canto at age 9. When she was 14, she released her debut self-titled album. She won the junior section of the Italian singing competition l Cantagiro and was a finalist in the Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest. 

Before Fame

When she was 2 years old, her family moved from Maltese to Australia. She began singing from a young age with her older sister.  At age 8, the family returned to Malta. She began taking singing lessons at La Voix Academy under Gillian Attard. 

Trivia

She won the Grand Prix in the 'Solo Pop Singer' category at the World Festival Association's XI International Contest for young talents. She took part in the Romanian TV talent show "Next Star," making it to the "People's Choice Awards" finals. She is a co-host of the radio program "Is-Sewwa Magħruf" on RTK 103FM radio in Malta. 

Family Life

She has an older sister named Kelly. She posted a baby picture with her father to Instagram in 2017. She has a cat and two dogs.
