Verone McKinley III

Professional defensive back and safety that was originally signed by the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in 2022. Prior to playing in the NFL, he played college football at the University of Oregon. Following his senior season, he was named a member of the first-team All-Pac-12.

Before Fame

He is a graduate of Hebron Public High School in Carrollton, Texas. While there, he was considered a four-star prospect. 

Trivia

He made his official NFL debut playing against the New England Patriots during week one of the 2022 regular season. His team won the game 20-7. At Oregon, he earned All-America honors, and also finished as a finalist for the prestigous Jim Thorpe Award.
