Russian vocalist, singer, entertainer, performer, artist, and musician who formed the musical group Aria, which is one of Russia's most influential heavy metal bands. He went on to record numerous full-length albums with the band throughout the '80s and '90s.
Before Fame
He participated in military service from the years 1976 to 1978, after which he joined a folk ensemble. He formed Aria in the year 1985.
Trivia
He has expressed support for Russia's 2014 annexation of Crimea. He is an Orthodox Christian. After leaving Aria in the year 2002, he formed a separate musical group known as Kipelov.

His daughter Zhanna and his son Alexander have both played in the gothic metal band Margenta.
