Valeri Nichushkin

Veteran right winger and athlete that was originally selected by the Dallas Stars as a first round pick during the 2013 NHL draft. He was later acquired by the Colorado Avalanche as a free agent in the year 2019. He is also a member of the Russian men's national hockey team.

Before Fame

Prior to his professional hockey career in the NHL, he played hockey in the Kontinental Hockey League. As a teenager, he played for the Russia-based hockey team Traktor Chelyabinsk.

Trivia

While playing for the Colorado Avalanche, he helped his squad win the 2022 Stanley Cup. By doing so, he helped his club win its first Stanley Cup championship in over 20 years. He stands six feet, four inches tall and weighs just under 210 pounds.

Family Life

Growing up, he lived with his family in Chelyabinsk, Russia. He now lives along with his girlfriend Svetlana and their son.
