Valentina Diouf

About

Italian professional volleyball player known for her work with the LJ Modena Club as well as Italy's national team. She plays as a spiker and and has helped the Italian team win several gold medals including at the Mediterranean Games in 2013 and the Under 20 World Championships in 2011. 

Before Fame

Her professional career began in 2008 when she began playing with Club Italia. In 2011, she moved on to the Volley Bergamo club and in 2013 she made her debut with the Italy national team where she won gold at the Turkey Mediterranean Games. 

Trivia

She was awarded the Best Opposite Spiker Award in the 2014 CEV Championships League. She was also awarded the CEV Cup's Most Valuable Player award in 2016 as well. 

Family Life

She was born and raised in Milan, Italy. Her father is from Senegal and her mother is from Italy.
