Singer and guitarist famously known for forming the alt rock band Toadies. Their 1994 album Rubberneck was released after they were signed by Interscope Records. After the band broke up, he went on to play lead guitar and sing vocals for the Burden Brothers, best known for their song "Beautiful Night."

Before Fame

As a child, he was introduced to bluegrass and country music by his parents. He met bassist Lisa Umbarger while working in a record store in the late 1980s, with whom he would later form the band Toadies. 

Trivia

He rejoined Toadies in 2007 and they have since continued to perform and release albums. They also started an annual Texas music festival called Dia De Los Toadies.

Family Life

He married Rachel Stas in 2016. They opened The Loop, a rehearsal studio located in Fort Worth, TX in 2017.
