Veteran goaltender, hockey player, and athlete that was originally drafted by the Buffalo Sabres as a second round pick in the year 2017. Prior to his NHL career, he played for the Finland based clubs HC TPS and HPK. He stands six feet, five inches tall and weighs over 210 pounds.

Before Fame

As a teenager, he played within the HPK youth ranks. He was later taken during the 2016 Kontinental Hockey League but decided not to play there. 

Trivia

He recorded his first career shutout in the NHL while playing against the Colorado Avalanche on the date of October 29, 2023. The match ended in a 4-0 victory for him and his team. He also played hockey professionally in the American Hockey League.

Family Life

Although he was born in Espoo, Finland he grew up living with his family in the town of Hyvinkää. He also has a twin brother named Jaakko.
