Tyson Calvin Thompson

About

Former NFL running back that played professionally for the Dallas Cowboys from 2005 up until 2008. After retiring from the NFL, he began playing for the Tri-Cities Fever of the National Indoor Football League. 

Before Fame

He first began his college career at Garden City Community College in Garden City, Kansas. He later transferred to San Jose State University. In high school, he recorded 525 rushing yards in one game. 

Trivia

He played in exactly 30 games during his three-year NFL career. He recorded a career-high 1,399 kickoff return yards during his rookie season. Early into his rookie year, he was named NFL Rookie of the Week, after rushing for 75 yards against the Philadelphia Eagles in week 5 of the 2005 regular season.

Family Life

Growing up, he lived with his family in the Irving, Texas area.
