American competition swimmer who has been a member of two world champion relay teams from the United States. In 2012, he and the rest of the American team earned gold medals in the 100-meter relay at the year's Summer Olympics.
Before Fame
He attended Auburn University and competed for the Auburn Tigers swimming team. He earned honors as a two-time NCAA champion while swimming for Auburn.
Trivia
In college, he won NCAA championships in the 400-yard freestyle, as well as 4x100-yard medley relay. He also earned an SEC championship in the 800-yard freestyle. After graduating college and competing in the Olympics, he became an assistant coach at Auburn.
