Before Fame
He originally began his college career as a basketball player at Northwood University. He later transferred to Central Michigan where he began playing college football. He excelled on the basketball court in high school, as well, helping his high school team get close to a state championship.

He made his official NFL debut playing against the San Francisco 49ers during week one of the 2018 regular season. He caught one pass for six yards in a 24-16 victory. He played in 17 regular season for the Jets during 2022, catching passes from three different quarterbacks along the way.
