Before Fame

He recorded a markedly successful career while attending Marana High School before he committed to play college football for Arizona State University. He was named a "Scholar Baller" for excellence in academics before graduating in the year 2023. 

Trivia

During week 6 of the 2022 season, he was named Manning Quarterback of the Week for helping ASU upset the University of Washington, which had previously held the #21 spot in Pac-12 play. He was chosen for the honor over seven other Manning Award Stars of the Week in Allstate's Sugar Bowl contest.

Family Life

He is one of six siblings, including his teammate on the ASU Sun Devils, Coben, who played as a wide receiver. His other brother Treyson was a quarterback at Brigham Young University and Western Michigan University. His sister Rylen has also been an ASU star athlete, having committed to the school to play beach volleyball. Their father Toby is a football coach and founder of the co-ed flag football program Tuscon Turf Elite Football.
