Former middle-distance runner most celebrated for his competitive achievements as a member of the Morpeth Harriers & Athletic Club. Most notably, while representing his home country of England, he earned the bronze medal in the 1500-meter event at the 1990 European Athletics Indoor Championships in Glasgow.
Before Fame
He made his debut representing Great Britain at the 1987 European Athletics Indoor Championships, in Liévin, France, where he earned 6th place in the 800-meter event. Later that same year, he represented Great Britain at the World Indoor & World Championships.
