Former Olympic hurdler and gold medalist known for competing in the Men's 110-meter hurdles as well as the 60-meter hurdle and the 4x100-meter relay. During his professional career, he raced in the 1988, 1992 and 2000 Summer Olympics. He was a member of the British men's national team.

In 1988, he finished sixth place in the men's 110m hurdles during that year's Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. He was just 22-years old at the time.
Trivia
He earned his first gold medal at the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland, New Zealand. He and his teammates won the men's 4x100m relay.
