Before Fame
He studied both acoustics and engineering at the University of Salford. He began his comedy career in the early 2000s and received the 2003 So You Think You're Funny Award.

Family Life
He and his four siblings grew up in Sheffield, England. He later settled in London with his psychologist wife.
