Tom Lembong

Indonesian politician who is best known for serving as the Head of Indonesia's Investment Coordinating Board since the year 2016. Since taking up the position, he described President Jokowi's economic reform philosophy as having two principles: openness and competition.

Before Fame

In the year 1994, he graduated from Harvard University with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture and Urban Design.

Trivia

From the years 2006 through 2015, he was the CEO and co-Founder of Quvat Capital Management. He was also the co-Founder of Principia Management Group. He formerly served as Minister of Trade of Indonesia from the years 2015 through 2016.

Family Life

He is the son of T Yohanes and Yetty Lembong. He has been married to Ciska Wihardja since the year 2002. They have a daughter named Thalia.

In August of 2015, he was appointed as Minister for Trade by President Joko Widodo.
