About
Rwandan recording artist and professional physician widely recognized as "the king of Afrobeat and dancehall" in Rwanda. He is known for hit songs like "Baza," "Mbwira Yego," and "My Number One." He has also worked as a medical doctor, including his years in the pediatrics department at Kacyiru Hospital and was named the Director of Regional Centre for Blood Transfusion for Kigali in 2019.
Before Fame
His experience as a singer began when he was in the fourth grade, when he started performing in his church choir. He earned his degree in Human Medicine from the National University of Rwanda in 2013. He commenced his music career in 2005 when he joined a performing group with his friends called the Afro-Saints.
Trivia
He was declared the winner of the Primus Guma Guma Super Star famous artists competition in 2011. He was declared Best Artist at a National University of Rwanda competition in 2008 and also won Salax Awards Artist of the Year for three years in a row.
Family Life
His mother tragically passed away in 1996. He and his wife, Angee Tricia Niyonshuti, were married in 2013 and welcomed two children together.

He has collaborated with an extensive list of artists including Sean Kingston and Knowles. In 2008, he shared the stage with famed reggae star Shaggy at the MTN Rwanda 10th Anniversary bash.
