Chilean singer-songwriter and folklorist who is known for his songs "La casa nueva," "Me gusta el vino," "La madre del cordero" and "El Caminero Mendoza."

Before Fame

His birth name is Humberto Waldemar Asdrúbal Baeza Fernández. He was born in Temuco but moved to Santiago when he was a teenager. In his 20s, he began singing in pubs and bars in the north of Chile, Peru, and Bolivia.

Trivia

In 1988, he founded the Comprehensive Center for Metaphysical Studies. With a collection of music available on Spotify, he has seen his following on the platform grow, and by April 2023, his page had amassed an audience of more than 50,000 monthly listeners.

Family Life

In 1998, he got married to Lidia Margarita Ureta Rivera. They have five children: Marco Antonio, Jazmin, Maria Mercedes, Veronica and Fernando Octavio.
