British comedian, entertainer, author, and adventurer known for writing and starring in two series of The Gambler (on BBC Radio 4), for his live stand-up shows performances of The Gambler, and for appearing in the films The Wolfman (2010), Booked Out (2012), and Hereafter (2010).
Before Fame
He studied at the University of Exeter and became involved in the university's theatre program. He began doing stunts and comedy after graduation. He became involved in stage theater in the 2000s before transitioning to stand-up comedy and film acting in the early 2010s.
Trivia
He has presented several documentaries for BBC 1 and the Super Human Challenge. He is a regular performer at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He has written a couple of books about his adventures, including All At Sea (2010). He is known for his adventures and stunts which include paddling a paper boat for 160 miles down a river, rowing a bathtub across the English Channel, and holding the record for inflating the world's largest balloon.

He was born and raised in King's Lynn, England. He has two children.
