Tiffany Henyard

About

Elected Mayor of Dolton, Illinois who first began serving in this role in May of 2021. She is also an elected Supervisor of the Thornton Township. Prior to being mayor and supervisor, she worked as a Dolton Village Trustee.

Before Fame

She is a graduate of Robert Morris University in Illinois. While there, she studied business administration.

Trivia

Besides politics, she also has a passion for activism. In fact, she was once named "Community Activist of the Year" by the Chicago Honors. In early 2024, Redeemed Christian Church of God Resurrection Power Assembly filed a lawsuit against Henyard and the Village of Dolton alleging that the village had discriminated against them. The suit asserts that the village not act in accordance with the its zoning codes when it prevented the church from renovating a building it had acquired.

Family Life

She lives along with her family in the Chicago, Illinois area. She has a daughter named Justice.
