South African fashion designer who is known for running his own self-titled clothing label. Specializing in style that is modern, sophisticated, and simplistic, he shares his own modeling content and photos of his clothing designs through Instagram for his over 60,000 followers. 

Before Fame

After moving to Johannesburg to study at the National School of the Arts in 2001, he then went on to attend the London International School of Fashion. He first started his career in fashion in 2005 working as a head designer at the textile company Vlisco. He then founded his own label which debuted at South African Fashion Week in 2006. 

Trivia

He is known for having been crowned the South African Designer of the Year in 2012 by the SA Tourism Organization. He also won he Best Youth Entrepreneur award in 2012 from the Small Enterprise Development Agency. 

Family Life

He was born and raised in Klerksdorp in the North West province of South Africa. 

Associated With

While traveling through Rome in 2012, he met his fashion icon Valentino Garavani. After seeing his designs, Garavani invited him to his private atelier.
