Multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter and music producer known for his unique fusion of pop, funk, and jazz styles. He is recognized for his work as a member of funk band Vulfpeck, and has also released three solo studio albums. He promotes his music and posts snapshots from tour on his theokatzman Instagram account, where he has amassed more than 90,000 followers.

Before Fame

He studied jazz at the University of Michigan and toured with the band Toolbox between 2007 and 2010.

Trivia

He formed the trio Love Massive in 2011. That same year, he released in first studio album, Romance Without Finance. He was the musical director and opener for Darren Criss on his 2013 national tour Listen Up.

Family Life

He was born and raised by a musical family in Manhasset, New York. His father, Lee Katzman, was a jazz trumpeter.
