Business executive who is known for being the President and CEO of TIAA, for being a former CEO of Chase Consumer Banking at JP Morgan, and for becoming the third Black female CEO of a Fortune 500 company in May of 2021. She was listed on Time Magazine's "100 Most Influential People" list in the year 2024. 

Before Fame

She earned her BS degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of Houston in the year 1996. She then earned an MBA from Baylor University in the year 2001. She began working at JP Morgan Chase in the year 2004. 

Trivia

She is a strong advocate for financial literacy and education. She is involved in multiple philanthropic organizations including Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, Jack and Jill of America, the National Medal of Honor Museum, and several others.

Family Life

She was born in Rochester, New York. She spent time in New Jersey and Texas as a child. She founded The Otis and Rosie Brown Foundation named after her parents. She married Richard Duckett in the year 2004. They have four children together.
