He grew up the grandson of a preacher and began playing the drums at the age of five in his grandfather’s church choir.
Trivia
He teamed up with renowned writer/Producer/Composer Alex Geringas and Dreamworks Animation on a series called All Hail King Julien which hit Netflix in December of 2014. Vill and Alex wrote, produced and performed the theme song for the series that led them to an Emmy Nomination in 2015.
Family Life
In high school, he transitioned into DJing, which led him into joining a rap trio with his two brothers.
