Before Fame
She grew up performing with the Jewish Agency's Kiev branch, which allowed her to travel to and perform in the US in 2000. She attended Gliere Music College.
Trivia
She's often participated in charity events and was given the title Honored Artist of Ukraine in 2009. She adopted the stage name Tina Karol at the advice of producers, as she had faced discrimination throughout her life for her Jewish last name of Liberman.
Family Life
She was born in the USSR to Ukrainian and Jewish parents, but moved to Ukraine when she was six. She married Eugeny Ogir in 2008 and had a son with him. Unfortunately, Ogir passed away in 2013 from cancer.
