Irish painter and artist who is known for his paintings focusing on Irish history, burlesque dancers, fashion models, and dockworkers, and for his Instagram account showcasing his artwork. He is also known for one of his paintings appearing in the film Belfast (2021).
Before Fame
He began painting when he was 14 years old. He took several art classes in school and loved them. He began working as a factory worker after graduating high school but realized he did not enjoy working for corporations.
Trivia
He started his own factory with his brothers before focusing on modeling and painting. He ran a fashion shop called "Retro" in the 1980s where he sold handpainted jeans and fashion items imported from all over the world. He enjoys riding motorcycles. His art was used for a Nokia phone cover.
Family Life
He was born and raised in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He has two brothers. He married Ashley Forsythe in the year 2000. He has three children.
Associated With
He was heavily inspired by Hergé's Adventures of Tin Tin as a child and it still inspires his artwork as an adult. One of his paintings appeared in the film Belfast (2021) directed by Kenneth Branagh.
