Trivia

She was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Award by the 2016 Indiana Film Journalists Association for her performance in the biographical romantic drama film Loving. The film was based on the true story of Richard and Mildred Loving, whose arrest for their interracial marriage in the 1960s led to the landmark 1967 Loving v. Virginia court case in which it was decided that the Fourteenth Amendment prohibits government from discriminating against individuals based on their race.
