Actress and author best known for her role in the series Eureka. She wrote a bestselling memoir, From Scratch: A Memoir of Love, Sicily and Finding Home, that was adapted into the limited series From Scratch on Netflix. 

Before Fame

She started her professional career in 1994. She attended Wesleyan University. She is fluent in Italian and was part of an exchange program in Italy. 

Trivia

She had a role on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air as one of Will's love interests. She has also appeared on Castle, Bones, The Mentalist, CSI: NY, Beverly Hills, 90210, Friends, and House of Payne. 

Family Life

She married Rosario "Saro" Gullo who passed away in 2012. They had one daughter together.
