In the year 2019, she shared that she was in the process of recruiting with colleges such as UCLA, the University of Connecticut, and Stanford University. In an interview about leaving Oregon State for USC, she commented, ""I just knew in my heart that I wanted something else from my last year. Both on the court and off the court, so many different things go into it, but it was definitely a super hard decision."
