Professional vert skater best known for signature tricks such as his Frontside 1080 McTwist and Double Viking Flip. He became the youngest professional vert skater to ever turn professional in 1995 when he was just nine years old. He has since gone on to contend in countless competitions and has won gold medals at the 2004 X Games, the 2007 LG Action Sports World Championships, the 2014 Asian X Games, and the 2022 World Skate Games, among many others.

Before Fame

He made his professional vert skating debut in the year 1998 at the Amateur Inline League event of the X Games. He won 14th place in vert and fifth place in triples, increasing his ranking with each year until his first gold medal win in the year 2002. 

Trivia

He earned a Guinness World Record on June 20, 1998 when he became the youngest X-Games athlete to ever participate in the competition. He was only 11 years old at the time and less than one week shy of his 12th birthday.

Family Life

His brother Eito Yasutoko is also a professional vert skater.
