After serving from 2010 to 2014 as his country's Minister of Social Affairs, this Reform Party politician became Prime Minister of Estonia.

Before Fame

During the late 1990s and early 2000s, he served as an adviser to the Estonian Minister of Justice. He later advised Prime Minister Andrus Ansip and also served as Mayor of Haabersti, Tallinn, Estonia.

Trivia

Upon his April, 2014 confirmation as Prime Minister of Estonia, he became the European Union's youngest high-ranking government official.

Family Life

His relationship with Estonian pop singer Luisa Vark resulted in a daughter.
