Famous for her work on the BBC Radio 4 programs I Guess That's Why They Call It the News and The News Quiz. She is also notable for her recurring roles on the television comedy programs Fresh Meat and Dead Boss, as well as for her Scottish BAFTA-winning work in the Channel 4 sketch comedy show Blowout.
Before Fame
After earning a law degree from Glasgow University, she developed a stand-up comedy act while working for the law firm Dundas & Wilson. Eventually, she abandoned her legal career to work as a full-time entertainer.

Family Life
The children of Anne Wilkie and university chancellor and national Chief Medical Officer Sir Kenneth Calman, she and her two siblings grew up in Glasgow, Scotland. She and her longtime partner Lee Cormack celebrated their civil union in 2012.
