Stand-up comedian, actress, and writer who has performed at New York Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest, Desi Comedy Festival, Silicon Valley Pride Festival, and many others. She has been showcased on streaming platforms like HBO and Amazon Prime. She earned renown for her Medium Roasts mini-video series, in which she also performs, and her monthly QTBIPIOC comics show Earth Tones at Union Hall in New York.

Before Fame

She graduated from Eastlake High School before going on to earn a bachelor's degree in intended American studies with a focus on social and political implications of comedic performance art from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2019. Before launching her standup comedy career, she worked as a team member at Panera Bread, a street performer, and a freelance photographer.

Trivia

She was the recipient of the Diversity in Comedy Writing Fellowship at Killing My Lobster SF in the year 2019. She was named on the 23 Comedians to Watch in 2023 list released by Gold Comedy in, naturally, the year 2023.

Family Life

One of her most popular jokes centers on her experience growing up with immigrant parents. Originally born in Sri Lanka but primarily raised in San Diego, CA, she joked about having been employed since the age of 6, when she began acting as a translator and tax accountant for her parents.
