About
American artist and filmmaker who rose to fame for his student film Messages, Messages. His 1971 surrealistic fantasy film, Luminous Procuress, earned him the New Director's award at the San Francisco International Film Festival. He later won acclaim for his photographs, paintings, and assemblage sculptures.

He attended the San Francisco Art Institute and the École des Beaux-Arts.
