Canadian curler who has been the skip of his own team based in Saskatoon. After emerging victorious in the provincial championship held in Shaunavon on February 2, 2014, he had the opportunity to represent Saskatchewan at the 2014 Tim Hortons Brier. Despite leading his province with a commendable 6-5 record, his team narrowly missed the playoffs.
Before Fame
From 2004 to 2006, he made persistent attempts to lead a team to the provincial men's championship but faced disappointment each time. However, his fortunes changed in 2007 when he joined forces with Pat Simmons, taking on the role of lead. Together, they achieved success and secured a provincial championship, finally breaking Steve's streak of unsuccessful attempts.
