Rock drummer and songwriter best known for being a founding member and drummer for the band Counting Crows. He joined the band for its tour with Rolling Stones and appearances on shows like Late Night with David Letterman and Saturday Night Live. After leaving the band in late 1994, he played with Third Eye Blind and artists like Penelope Houston. He formed a band called Luce in 1998 and their song "Good Day" was featured in movies like How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and 13 Going on 30
