Stephen Manas

About

Actor and music composer best known for playing the role of Richard Montlaur on the Primetime Emmy Award-winning series Ted Lasso. He appeared in numerous French television dramas following his debut acting role in the film Ma Premiere Fois. After being offered a contract with an Indian talent agency, however, he relocated to India and appeared in numerous Bollywood films before returning to France to star in the short film Out of Frame, for which he received substantial critical acclaim. 

Before Fame

He studied marketing and communication at an international research school in Lyon, France. He then went on to graduate from the University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne with a Master 2 degree in international marketing and communication research. Shortly after beginning his business career, however, he realized that his true passion was performance and he decided to focus on acting full-time.

Trivia

For his performance as Christian in the 2018 short film Out of Frame, he won numerous awards including Best Actor from the AltFF Alternative Film Festival and Best Performance of the Year from the Los Angeles Actors Awards.

Family Life

His mother was a ski instructor and instilled a love for the sport in him from a young age.
