Highly decorated professional Australian rules soccer player who began his Australian Football League career in 2012, as a midfielder for the Greater Western Sydney Giants. During his time with the Giants, he served as captain in 2020 and 2021, as co-captain in 2022, and as vice-captain in 2023. On an international level, he has also represented Western Australia at both the 2010 and 2011 National U18 Championships. Outside of soccer, he became director and part-owner of the Macelleria Australia restaurant group in 2016.

Before Fame

As a child, he demonstrated significant skill in both soccer and cricket. While representing Western Australia in the National U15 Cricket Championship, he broke the record for highest score ever achieved by a Western Australian at the tournament in 2009. After announcing his nomination for the Australian Football League draft in September of 2011, he was chosen by Greater Western Sydney as the 2nd pick overall. He graduated from Griffith University with a bachelor's degree in business administration in 2019.

Trivia

During the 2011 National U18 Championship, he earned the Larke Medal as best player of the competition and was also named Western Australia's MVP. That same year, he won the Rising Star Award for his performance with Swan Districts in the WAFL. In 2019, he received the Jim Stynes Community Leadership Award for his instrumental involvement with public benefit programs such as Diversity Talent and All Nations.

Family Life

His father was born in Italy and his mother was born in the United Kingdom. He married Rebecca Demlakian in October of 2022 at St. Mary's Cathedral in Sydney, Australia. On the date of May 23, 2023, the pair announced on social media that they were expecting a baby girl.
