Before Fame
After earning a journalism degree from Deakin University, Geelong, and an education diploma from the University of Melbourne, she worked for the Melbourne Museum and presented a disability-themed local television program called No Limits.

She was wheelchair-bound as the result of a congenital disorder known as osteogenesis imperfecta.
Family Life
She spent her early years in Stawell, Victoria, Australia. Tragically, she died suddenly at the age of thirty-two.
