Professional soccer player most widely renowned for playing as a center-back for Trabzonspor Kulübü of the Turkish Süper Lig. He previously played for clubs like Club Brugge of the Belgian Pro League and Bologna FC 1909 of Italy's Serie A. He began his international career in 2007, representing his home country of the Netherlands in youth championships every year until 2013. In 2023, he changed sporting nationalities and began playing for Suriname's national team.
Before Fame
He started his career in soccer with the small-scale amateur club Hellas Sport in Zaandam. In 2001, he was recruited to join Ajax Youth Academy.
