About
Comedian and actor who skyrocketed to fame after being featured in the 2011 comedy documentary Kevin Hart: Laugh at My Pain. He has traveled with Hart as an opening act for over four years, including his "Seriously Funny" and "Let Me Explain" tours. He appeared in the 2014 comedy film Ride Along, on several episodes of Nick Cannon's Wild 'N Out, and as a voice actor in the 2021 animated feature Tom and Jerry. He has since performed at more than 100 colleges and universities across the country and performed for the troops in Korea.
Before Fame
He originally pursued a career in the NBA and was a star basketball player at Simon Gratz High School before studying communications at Lincoln University. After being dared to take the stage at Philadelphia's Laff House Comedy Club, he went on to make his network TV debut on BET's Comic View in 2022 - only six months after having launched his comedy career.
Trivia
In 2004, he was a semifinalist on the reality competition series Coming to the Stage. The following year, he was also declared the runner-up in Bud Light's Comedy Competition. He also went on to be featured on BET's One Night Comedy Stand in 2008.
Family Life
He helped launch a foundation in honor of his daughter, Taylen Lauren Horton, who was diagnosed with Dravet Syndrome - a severe form of epilepsy.
