About

Multi award-winning singer-songwriter, film composer, and multi-instrumentalist whose extensive discography includes the Swiss chart-topping albums "Monday's Ghost" and "1983." In 2013, she finished in eighth place, along with rapper Max Herre, in the Bundesvision Song Contest. She also formed the supergroup Brandão Faber Hunger in 2020, with whom she released the album "Ich liebe Dich."

Before Fame

She took piano lessons as a child and was first introduced to jazz music by her father, who frequently listened to the genre. She began her musical career in 2002 as a guest singer for the project Superterz.

Trivia

Her numerous career accolades include a Swiss Music Award for Best Female Solo Act and an Award for Pop Culture for Favorite Female Solo Artist. The film My Life as a Courgette, for which she composed the score, also won numerous honors for its soundtrack, including a Swiss Film Award for Best Music.

Family Life

She is the daughter of a diplomat, and the youngest of her parents' three children.

In 2008, she performed a concert at the Miles Davis Hall of the Montreux Jazz Festival along with Yael Naim and Camille. In 2017, she was featured on the track "Song of I" by Steven Wilson.
