British children's author whose 2016 book Love Song won the RNA Goldsboro Books Romantic Novel of the Year award. Her young adult novel The Castle was shortlisted for the 2015 Oxfordshire Book Award.

Before Fame

She studied at London University. She later earned her PhD in modern Italian literature from Cambridge University. 

Trivia

Her 2013 novel You Don't Know Me was shortlisted for the Book Trust Best Book of the Year. She also hosts her own Prepublished Podcast.

She is married with four children.
