Internationally sought-after, self-taught professional henna artist and founder of Sonia's Henna Art. She is known for being one of the fastest artists in the Greater Toronto Area and has built a reputation for her stunningly intricate artwork as well as her incorporation of modern styles with traditional design. She has been featured in publications such as The Toronto Star, Yahoo!, and Lavish Dulhan, and she co-authored the book Mehndi for the Inspired Artist: 50 Contemporary Patterns & Projects Inspired by Traditional Henna Art, which was published in the year 2017.
Before Fame
She began travelling internationally to provide henna services for destination weddings in the year 2012. In 2014, she became an award-winning henna artist. That year, she began teaching the Art and History of Henna at George Brown College and in 2018, she transferred her teachings to Branksome Hall.
Trivia
She has taught her detailed artform as a Bridal Henna Instructor at major events, including HENNA HUDDLE 2022, which is Europe's largest Henna conference, and SPRINGFLING 2020-2023, which is the largest Henna Conference in North America. She was also named amongst the Top 10 Bridal Henna Artists by Indian Wedding Buzz.

She got married at Badshahi Mosque Lahore in her home town of Punjab, Pakistan in 2015. She has 3 children.
