Former NBA point guard and athlete that played basketball professionally for seven years until retiring in the year 1980. During his NBA career, he played for the Seattle SuperSonics, New Orleans Jazz and the Houston Rockets. In his prime, he stood 6'1" tall and weighed 175 pounds.

Before Fame

He initially began his college basketball career at Grand View University. He later transferred to the Xavier University of Louisiana in the year 1970. 

Trivia

While playing for the Seattle Supersonics, he led the entire NBA in assists and steals during the 1976 regular season. That very same season, he was named to the NBA First Team All-Defense. He also played one season for the Anchorage Northern Knights of the Continental Basketball Association.

Family Life

His son Donald played college basketball at the University of Washington during the 1990s. His grandson Isaiah Watts eventually began played basketball in college at Washington State University in the year 2023.
